Laughing And as i was reading that, I thought it was gonna be hidden in the big base drum...Nice trombone work.

This funny episode reminded me of the last time i saw a marching band play at a football stadium. It was a tAshton Gate and it was raining and cold. The band were playing and marching on the pitch, when the rather large big bass drummer seemed to slip and fell staight on his back with the drum resting on his stomach pointing to the sky...Of course, the whole stadium errupted, laughing themselves silly, you can imagine the scene. However...what seemed to be a pure comedy moment, turned out to be one of the sadest things i've ever seen. The poor old fella had only gone and had a heart attack, and promptly died on the pitch...made even worse with his daughter by his side. A terrible thing to witness.. Crying or Very sad

Keep 'em coming Gully...loving it.

BRILLIANT STUFF, Gully! Absolutely love the latest.

You should put all of this in a self-publish book. It's still funny, even if you don't know the people mentioned.

Laughing

A BESTSELLER, me thinks.

No worries, Ian. It was well deserved. Saints only managed to hit the target twice in 90 minutes! Our first league blank of the season! And we were lucky to get nil by all accounts.

With regard to the self-publishing idea. I was only playin' with ya. I put the customary chuckle at the end of my 'shocked and dismayed' post so you would know I was only kiddin'.

Great minds think alike.

All good mate...no worries.

Seriously get a tenner on City to make the play offs this season. Not joking.

4 wins and a draw at West Ham. Not a bad start for a new manager. Can't see him being with us very long though. Too good.
