| Quality!! Love the overall effect - especially the 'commentary caption' being included in the 1st photo - nice touch!! One reflection btw; I've found that strategically placing another player in the pic provides the opportunity to stick speech bubbles to them, which gives a bit more flexibility in arranging the key characters and their associated speeh bubbles. For example, in the 'spud talking with Vikash about his sister' pic, I struggled with getting the speech bubbles to come from their mouths. It's as if spud talks out of his left ear!...(hmmm, having to suppress quite a few quips about where spud may actually talk from etc... ) Then I tried the old 'strategically placed player/object' ploy to overcome this... ...never thought I'd ever be discussing the technical issues around Subby speech bubbles, but the world moves on at such pace... Looking forward to the next episode! |

| Thank you for pointing me in the right direction an exceptionally good Finger tip. I will also check that the photo's are in focus before I post them next time. Got a few ideas so will post one up each week. |

| It's always good to see what others' ideas are; and your handwritten bubbles are much more authentic than typed ones, and I'll certainly bear this in mind for the future. |

| Also, some of my photos have been so out of focus - especially when taking them on a phone-cam The second pic below I think is the worst one I ever took. I thought I might get away with it if people thought it was deliberate, to show Liono's speed! It wasn't deliberate though...just crap photography! ...also, having met Liono on the green cloth a few times, I'm fairly sure he hasn't moved that fast anyway - he appreciates the more deliberate, studious pace! |

| Poll:
Does subbuteoman:
a) Take a break from posting until fully recovered after convalescence...
b) Jump off the stretcher and stagger to the nearest pc to post "aaarrgh me noonads!"
c) Claim that Roy Race should get done for Grievous Bollocky Harm
d) Keep posting as much as before from his hospital bed, but in a slightly higher font... |

| Always a bit of controversy in your instalments Gullseye!
...Surely Langton Green will claim special dispensation, quoting rule 3a (ii) subsection 2c, which states as long it is a genuine part of old subbuteo it is allowable And an army blanket would qualify under the clause as long as they had made the chalk markings!
...But it appears George isn't aware of this clause!
Just 7 days to the next installment!! |
