jp,wycombe mark,reg and myself have a fortnightly ten minute matches league that started 1/2.
each season runs for 42 games

we are more than half way through the first season and all is to play for.

We have only ever once had any team score more than two goals in a game and most games are very close

When you say floodlights Jon...do you mean actually playing under four Subbuteo floodlights? Suprised you can see anything if you are...

Its a close league right enough - really enjoying it and has made a big difference to my retro game.

And as usual with every league I play in, I score loads and let in the most !!

( guess my 2-4-4 formation has alot to answer for ! )

its called floodlit cos we play evenings only.

and yes mark plays a rather open game which livens things up a bit.

its only 10 minute matches which in part explains the lack of goals.

also,the four of us seem quite well match.

next meet is tomorrow night. bring it on!

mark played with zombies for some games and nearly curled us all out of the cabin!

i myself can claim a solid defence but a firing blanks attack - four nil nil draws!

highlight for me was reg equalising againt mark when mark was on his mobile but still playing! mark did win 2-1 in the end.

If you approximately average that up for the season, he would have:

Played 40, won 15 drew 25, lost 0, goals for 15, goals against 0, points 70 !!!

yes and there is a subby crowd on tans at one end of the cabin.

i have now reset them all lying down and snoring!

sadly reg's back still no good and he is out of action until the new year.

hopefully we will finish the furst season in january and start a new one short after that
