I have now added a quick version of the Old Subbuteo rules for your interest.

I have attempted to remove as much stuff as possible, that I did not think was necessary.
For example, having clearly stated what constitutes a legal flick, I didn't think it was necessary to then list lots of illegal procedures.
If however, I have left something out you consider to be vital, please let me know, or add it to the relevant thread.

If anybody thinks that a rule could be improved, perhaps these suggestions can also be added to the relevant threads for discussion.

If clubs have tweaked any of these rules, and found the game more enjoyable as a result, then share it with the community.
